  1. This is Chauncey, a rabbit that "lives" just outside of FAC. Normally nude, Chauncey is covered in school spirit. As our first project we were only allowed to use string. My mind went to clothes, from there it webbed into knitted hats and scarfs. Great, but what was I going to do with it? I thought back to what my mum told me once about "yarn bombing." Yarn Bombing is people who cover light posts, phone booths, and even cars in yarn. I thought about this along with the idea of the hats and scarfs and decided to yarn bomb Chauncey the Rabbit.
I wanted to make this piece funny, and I think it is. Why would a statue ever need hats and scarfs during the winter? They wouldn't, and that's why I believe this piece is successful in being funny, or at least playful.
