Its as though the sound in your head when walking is being magnified. Like the sound of your heart beat when you have been exercising or moving more then normal. Or maybe that is just the sound I hear when walking up the stairs. lol It makes you want to walk to its beat or hurry on along through the stairwell. i really enjoyed this piece and all of the sound pieces so far. I think that sound as an instillation and use in art is not often thought of and I like how you are breaking into that. Keep exploring its working.
I like the idea of exploring sound. I think that the recording may have made it difficult to experience, because it felt as though there was white noise washing out the other sounds. What were the specific sounds you used, and why was that important to you? Are they recognizable to everyone or just to you? Are the sounds at the speed you would hear them in reality or were they sped up or slowed down? I did not recognize or pick out any specific sounds. Was that the intent?
