  1. Really sad I didn't get to see this piece in person because I had been looking forward to a performance all semester. I'm sure it was great seems like a great space.

  2. I wish I could have been there to see the performance. Reminds me of sleeping on a old mattress that feels like cardboard.

  3. I like the challenge this piece presents about artist-artwork-viewer relationships. For me it talks about how the artist is expected to talk about his or her art, the perceived mental and physical boundaries between a viewer and an artwork as opposed to the artist's complete freedom, and what is permissible for the viewer in approaching the artist about the work. Before seeing the sign, though, I felt the anxiety of sleeping on something luxurious that is actually covering up something less luxurious or even undesirable, so I don't know if that was significant or not but I could see how it could fit in if you wanted it to.
