PROJECT 3
INHABIT
For Project 3, students each have use of a small gallery space on the second floor of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center for a week. Every week we end their time with a critique, and the space is passed to the next student. The space measures 16' long by 8' tall and just under 3' deep. It is fronted by a 3-paned sliding glass door.
Week 5: Ashton Callis and Gabriella Kempter; materials: fabric, dye, string, pins

I found those tie-dyed tapestries mesmerizing. I really wanted to go in there and take one and run off. I love the combination of fabric and string.
ReplyDeleteI think this piece is awesome I would hang those tie-dye pieces in my room, it reminds me of like some sort of concert or event
ReplyDeleteThis collaboration was really great to be part of and so much fun. Hope that everyone enjoyed the work we both put into it.
