   PROJECT 3

INHABIT
For Project 3, students each have use of a small gallery space on the second floor of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center for a week. Every week we end their time with a critique, and the space is passed to the next student. The space measures 16' long by 8' tall and just under 3' deep. It is fronted by a 3-paned sliding glass door.

Week 10: Sarah Travis

  1. I thought this piece was very interesting to look at. I liked finding something tied to a certain string and following that string to the other end to see what, if anything, was on the other side.

  2. this piece was very cool to look at, it almost looks like spaghetti noodles dropping from the ceiling, but that is what brought me in and made me realize all the different work and how it relates to your life

  4. I love the scrapbook or grandmas sewing basket feel to this. The gathering of all kinds of different objects and ribbons etc being collected to be reused. Or maybe a little kids pile of treasures. It also reminds me a lot of Gerda Steiner and Jorg Lenzlinger's Falling Garden installation.
