Timeline was installed as a personal exploration of memories. The string was carefully strung along the places and pathways in FAC that have some sort of personal denotation or memory. The twine was intentionally hung continuously in an attempt to conserve these memories; however, they are hung above the viewers' heads, just out of reach, much like memories themselves. In general, we are rarely able to grasp the reality of our memories, because in our attempts to grasp the small details of our pasts, we are diluting and warping them until they become unrecognizable, a silhouette of their former character. The memories began and ended in the same place, leading the viewer back to the origin of this timeline, but it leaves them with the spool of choice: where to next?
