   PROJECT 3

INHABIT
For Project 3, students each have use of a small gallery space on the second floor of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center for a week. Every week we end their time with a critique, and the space is passed to the next student. The space measures 16' long by 8' tall and just under 3' deep. It is fronted by a 3-paned sliding glass door.

Week 12: Allison Salmon

  1. This is my favorite piece Allison has done between the two installation classes we have taken together. They look like they are falling, but it is so still and silent inside. It is very meditative just to look at. I also enjoy the shadows they create.

  2. I loved the new use of the nylons and the stillness of this piece. It was really beautiful with the shadows it created. Cant wait to see whats next!

  3. This is so pretty and at the same time really creeps me out. It is very serene. The way that it reminds me of dried skin like a pigs ear or something. Also the way that it looks like a captured moment of something that had been moving or dancing, like they all froze midair.
